Weak Made Strong

God doesn’t leave us broken the way we were; He makes us whole! In this message, Pastor Kyle Rodgers encourages us that we can find hope and confidence in the fact that God takes the broken pieces of our lives and creates a masterpiece through his sacrifice on the cross! You are not your brokenness; you are a new creation in Jesus!

Notes 📓✏️:

Weak Made Strong – Kyle Rodgers

Genesis 2:15-17 “The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.”

Genesis 3:10 “He replied, “I heard you walking in the garden, so I hid. I was afraid because I was naked.”

Disobeying God results in us feeling distanced from Him.

Refusing to take personal responsibility for our actions will always damage our relationship with others.

Genesis 3:11-12 “Who told you that you were naked?” the Lord God asked. “Have you eaten from the tree whose fruit I commanded you not to eat?” The man replied, “It was the woman you gave me who gave me the fruit, and I ate it.”

The problem Adam created, Jesus came and solved.

Matthew 26:6-13, “While Jesus was in Bethany in the home of Simon the Leper, a woman came to Him with an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume, which she poured on His head as He was reclining at the table. When the disciples saw this, they were indignant. “Why this waste?” they asked. “This perfume could have been sold at a high price and the money given to the poor.” Aware of this, Jesus said to them, “Why are you bothering this woman? She has done a beautiful thing to Me. The poor you will always have with you, but you will not always have Me. When she poured this perfume on My body, she did it to prepare Me for burial. Truly I tell you, wherever this gospel is preached throughout the world, what she has done will also be told, in memory of her.”
