We’re sharing hope to Rockford and beyond!
In our surrounding area, there are 455,000 people – daughters, fathers, friends, brothers, mothers, sisters, and sons. How many need the hope that is only found in Jesus?
We’ve been most effective reaching people living 15-20 minutes from our location. While we have committed attendees who may drive 20 minutes or more to church each way, tens of thousands will not.
We’re excited to announce that God is leading us to bring the hope of Jesus by becoming one church with many locations!
Sharing hope with people one city at a time!
As we enter this new season of growing our church family one city at a time, our current name poses a challenge when launching new locations beyond the Rockford area.
On Sunday, January 29, CITY FIRST CHURCH became City First Church!
While the name is changing, the things we love about our church will stay the same.
- Our incredible Pastors, Jeremy & Jen, will continue to lead our church with passion and vision.
- “We’re not just a friendly church, but a family church,” will still reign true and will impact more people than ever before!
- We will continue to be a church made up of Life Groups where authentic relationships are found.
- We will continue to have the same powerful ministries like Kids, Youth, Champions Club, Love Works, and more, but now at many locations!
- We will continue to throw our doors wide open, creating a place for people of all ages and backgrounds to find the life-changing hope of Jesus.
- We will continue to declare that Christ is the answer, and be a place for everyone to call home.
